Often success is defined as the accomplishment of a purpose, the achievement of something desired, or the attainment of popularity and prosperity. To some, it means living their passion, or having a well-paid job, a nice house or other material things.
In my view, success is first and foremost to be all that you can be. This simple definition implies that we can all have a successful life independent of our social status, the size of our bank account or how big our accomplishments are. We are all destined for success, and we can all stand tall and be proud of ourselves, our growth and our accomplishments, small and grand. It does not matter if we failed at achieving a specific goal. What matters is that we have grown through the experience. “How do I become all that I can be?” you might ask. Remember these three words – learn, dare and persevere – that will change the way you live success.
Learn – Each one of us is gifted. You are called to transform yourself and create a fulfilling life for you and those around you. Don’t hide your gifts. Develop new skills, open your mind to new ideas, find the creativity within you, try new things and let your voice be heard. These are all great ways to let your light shine.
Dare – You are a being of pure creativity; dare to dream bigger dreams. If your heart is filled with hopes and desires, don’t ignore your inner voice. Desires and hopes are often messages of the direction you should be taking for your life. Most importantly, put little feet under your desires. Remember, desires always come with the power to realize them, which is why you need to believe and have faith in yourself.
Persevere – Do not let a setback stop you from moving forward. Choose a different direction, keep walking and go all the way to your destination. Failure does not exist, as life is all about learning what works and does not work. Growth comes from experiencing life to its fullest, with all its ups and downs.
As you can see, success is a transformational process, with you discovering your gifts and talents, learning and growing, being creative, taking action and adding more beauty into the universe with your own uniqueness. Remember success is in you, success is you. Learn, dare, persevere, and without any doubt, your life will be a testimony of all that you can be!
